Training Services -

We left our four month old silver Labrador Retriever, Jake, at Hickory Springs Farm for three weeks of training. I have to admit I was skeptical at first. I just didn't see how anyone could take such an energetic, somewhat out of control puppy, like Jake and actually train him. When I picked him up at the end of training what I found was a different dog. Jake used to bark at everything, now he never barks. I used to dread going on walks with him because he insisted upon walking me. Now he heels, stays right with me, is not distracted and pays attention. The truth is there are times when I am walking that I momentarily forget that he is with me. Jake no longer jumps on anyone or "puppy bites" at all. You tells him to sit, he sits. You tell him to stay, he stays. We can walk through the woods together and he stays close to me. It is truly amazing. Even my husband, who never wanted a dog, has been impressed with Jake and praising the work that you did with him. I can't thank you enough! - Heather Rogers - Austin, TX
